CD box for Mr. Custódio. He is a public person in Brasil and it was a christmas gift that he asked me to design. He choose and recorded his favorite songs in some CDs and gave it to his friends.

86 turkish food menu

86 turkish and mediterranean Food, pelo que eu soube é um grande restaurante lá no Brooklyn. Esse menu tem algumas peculiaridades. O restaurante é todo pintado nas cores Laranja e azul, como na logo. Esse menu tem muita informação em poucas paginas e pouco espaço para desenvolver alguma arte. 8 paginas ao todo, 1 dia de prazo. Interessante ver como algumas condições levam a um resultado completamente diferente, se compararmos aos menus anteriores.

I heard it is a huge restaurant over there, at Brooklyn. This menu has some details in particular, like the colors. The restaurant is all painted in Blue and Orange, same as their logo. In this job there was too much information and few space for design. It has 8 pages and i had 1 day to work on it. I found interesting that some conditions can lead to a completely different result, if we compare to the other ones i posted here before.

Ossos do ofício... com frequência, sei o mínimo a respeito do trabalho a ser feito. Por isso simulei essa visualização em uma garrafa.

Um dos ultimos cardápios que eu fiz... Relativamente recente, mas ainda nao foi concluído.
Estou monopolizando os cardapios turcos no brooklyn, ehehe. Esse foi para o um restaurante Amish. Eles tem uma filosofia de vida diferente, interessante. Vou ver se em breve coloco aqui algo que não seja cardapio pra variar. Não percam os próximos episodios de: "O fazedor de cardapios"

It is one of my most recent menus. I've been working in so many menus for Brooklyn restaurants, I few like the menuman. This one was for a Amish Food Restaurant. Amish people has very interesting culture, a different way of life.

Nature is full of curves and organic shapes; movement and life is everywhere.
The Organic concept in architecture was mostly influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright. The architects of his times were realizing that their arts needed to be more human, thus integrating architecture with people and environment. They were experimenting with the natural elements like shapes and curves and looking for the best result. Wright knew that design could make difference and transform people's minds.
We live in an organic world, in a colorful world of infinite arts and feelings.
Snowboard is man and nature together, connected in harmony. Energy, rhythm, heart beating, pulsation of the hot blood in veins merging with the power of wind, infinity of the blue sky, and magnificence of the white snow sparkling in the sunshine. In the contrast there's a depth of essence, man and nature as a part of the unique, organic body, of something greater.Snowboarding is feeling life with all the essence of the human being, feeling greater than human, overcoming the insuperable.Snow paths in form of curves cause more movements of life, imitating movements of universe; new curves – new movements, new feelings and experiences. That's Organic Life.

Um dos vários cardápios que fiz em 2006. Foi um pacote logo-folder e a logo escolhida foi a última à direita, a da chama. Mais uma vez o cliente e eu não preferimos a mesma logo. Bom,
logos são complicadas mesmo, elas tem qualidades que a maioria das pessoas ignora e acabam escolhendo pela beleza. A logo serve para que a empresa deixe sua marca na mente das pessoas, precisa ser versátil para se adaptar às várias mídias onde ela será inserida. E é a logo que posiciona a empresa. Uma marca cafona vai posicionar a empresa em meio a um público cafona. Vou deixar mais de minha opinião sobre logos para outros posts.

One of the menus i did in the year of 2006. It was a combo job of Logo, Menu and card. The chosen logo was the right one (the flame). Once more the customer didn't like my favorite one. Actually, logos has atributes that most people ignore and in the end they choose by beauty. Logos are necessary for keep a image of the company in people's minds. It must be easily adapted to any situation. The logo puts the company in a position. A Kitsh logo will atract Kitsh people. I will express my opinion about it more in future posts.

Cielo Dolce - Italian Ices

Meu primeiro trabalho para uma empresa de Nova York. Sorvetes Italianos (os donos sao russos, ahaha). Foram 3 folhetos, logo e a pasta. Feito aproximadamente em junho de 2006. esse trabalho tem muito de mim, quero dizer, sorvete e chocolate :)~

A logo aprovada, pra variar, não foi a que eu julgava ser a melhor pra eles. No canto superior tem uma das que eu gostava mais.

My 1st job for a New York customer. Italian Ice Cream and Italian Ices company (the owners of that company are russian, ehehe). The job was 3 brochures, logo and a folder. I did it about June 2006. I identify myself with it, i look at it and see chocolate and ice cream :)~

The approved logo, wasn't the one I think it was the best for the company. In the top left there is one i preffer.

I see too many colors in the last posts that is why i choose some white stuf. This job was for a Lawyer from New York. As i remember, the chosen wasn't any of these ones i show. But those are the ones i like more.

HOPE, é um filme co-produzido por Índia e Paquistão. Foi um trabalho que gostei muito de fazer, um desafio trabalhar apenas com uma foto bem ruim, mas um tema interessante. Há encanto em fazer trabalhos para cinema. Imagino as pessoas vendo meu trabalho por ai... Espero que apareçam muitos trabalhos prazerosos como esse.

Hope is an Indian-Paquistanese movie production. It was a job i loved to do. A challenge to work in a low quality photo, but very interesting theme. There is some magic in doing a job for cinema. I imagine people looking at this job in the streets... I hope many more jobs like this will come.
